Joy Obidike, PhD
Dr. Joy Obidike is a first-generation Nigerian American with a passion to impact positive global change. She is a biomedical scientist who has served in the United States Senate as a NASA and Education Correspondent. Presently, Dr. Joy designs aerospace and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programming in challenged communities. She has held conference with leaders like President Barack Obama, President George W. Bush, Chief Justice John Roberts, representatives from the United Nations, and a host of others. Her work led to establishment of education and leadership models for children in Kenya, Canada, Uganda, the Caribbean, and the US. She is a graduate of the NASDAQ Entrepreneurial network, with a featured offer in Times Square. Dr. Joy emphasizes the fundamentality of access to equitable education, while solving lack of physical needs like food, clothing, and menstruation hygiene products--notably for girls in East Africa. She believes that everyone can be a philanthropist for we all carry the capacity to give.
Kiconco Peace | Team Leader
Peace serves as Team Lead for our Ugandan projects. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Kabale University and is an entrepreneur. Peace is a stellar example of gender equity in challenged regions of the world. Her efforts coordinate partnerships between our foundation and religious institutions and schools in remote East African villages. Her role is vital in assessing program evaluation for efficacy and improvement. Peace further serves our team as a multilingual specialist--a key asset as translation is often necessary for the success of our projects.
Ddamba Timothy | Logistics Manager
Timothy serves as Logistics Manager for East African projects--notably our operations in Uganda. He is a recent graduate of Kabale University, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Timothy is a key partner in establishing the technical networks required for smooth implementation of our project plans.
Kinyera Emmanuel | Content Specialist
Emmanuel serves as our Media and Content Specialist. He is an expert at capturing moments of hope via videography and photography. Emmanuel recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. His success has led him to travels well beyond his native village. He is as an emblem of joy in demonstrating what is possible for those who dare dream big.
Ashlei Stevens | Board of Directors
Ashlei works as Chief Communications Officer within our Board of Directors. She is an award winning media professional with 17+ years experience in media and communications. Her skills have warranted opportunities with major US news and media outlets, including a host of celebrity appearances. Ashlei helps empower our projects by developing region-specific communication strategies and increased exposure.
Andrea Balongo | Board Director
Andrea is a native Kenyan with extensive education in the US. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Andrea is a Certified Treasury Professional, a Certified Foreign Exchange and Money Market Dealer, and a Certified Private Equity Professional. He serves the foundation as Director of the Board and uses his plethora of financial expertise to interface our financial management plans across borders.
